When hiring chocolate equipment can be a better option than buying:

- Big one-off orders… a new customer wants a large order really quickly? An extra machine on short-term hire could be just what you need.
- Special projects… need something special or just something you don’t have for product development or new product trials?
- Promotional work… for demonstrations or exhibitions.
- Emergencies… to cover you if one of your machines is out of commission for repairs or just planned maintenance!
- Just can’t decide… for when you think you need to upgrade but you’re just not sure whether it’s the right decision!
Chocolate Manufacturing Machines Available for Hire
We have a limited number of standard range KeyChoc machines available for short-term or long-term hire. Please note that the hire of a specific machine or model is subject to availability and our Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire as below.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Hire
Hire Charge
This will be calculated as a weekly fee. Any part weeks will be charged as full weeks.
Duration
Your Hire Agreement will stipulate the number of weeks you have booked the machine for and may be extended subject to availability. The minimum hire period is 4 weeks.
Purchase Option
If you decide to purchase the machine during the hire period or immediately after the hire period has ended and provided the machine has not been returned to KeyChoc, then you will be invoiced for the full sales price of the machine (including carriage charges as applicable) less up to 4 weeks-worth of hire charges paid.
Delivery, Installation and Collection
If KeyChoc is required to deliver and install the machine and collect it at the end of the hire period, this will be charged as extra. Please note that if a Collection charge is paid and the machine is subsequently purchased, then this charge will be credited against the final sale invoice.
Please note that larger machinery may have to be delivered/collected by our own transport for safety reasons and this will be at Keychoc’s sole discretion. Smaller machines can be delivered using a carrier but in this case, the packaging that the machines are supplied in must be kept by you for the return journey. In the event that the packaging is lost or destroyed, KeyChoc reserves the right to charge you for the supply and delivery of replacement packaging.
Payment terms
The hire fee for the full initial duration as well as any delivery and collection charges must be received by KeyChoc before the hire period commences. If the hire period is extended, hire charges will be payable weekly in advance.
Title
KeyChoc Ltd retains full title to the machine at all times until and unless you decide to purchase the machine and payment in full has been received by KeyChoc Ltd.
Insurance
It will be your responsibility to keep the machine fully insured at all times for the full list price of the machine. You must also indemnify KeyChoc Ltd against unreasonable wear and tear or any damage caused to the machine by whatever cause whilst the machine is in your possession. In the event that the machine is damaged and cannot be economically repaired, Keychoc will be entitled to immediately invoice you for the full list price of the machine.
Termination
You may terminate the Hire Agreement at any time and you will only be charged for the number of weeks for which you have had the machine at the applicable rate for that duration, provided the hire period is not reduced to less than 4 weeks.
Return of Machine
The machine should be returned to KeyChoc Ltd having been fully cleaned, devoid of any food products, or else a cleaning charge will be levied.
Any manuals, drawings and spares must be returned intact and in good condition.
The machine must be returned to KeyChoc or made available for collection by KeyChoc within 3 days of the end of the hire period otherwise KeyChoc will be entitled to invoice you for additional hire charges in respect of the delay.
Default
In the event of insolvency or administration on the part of the Customer, KeyChoc shall be entitled to enter the Customer’s premises to reclaim the machine as KeyChoc’s property. The same will apply if any hire charges remains unpaid or if the Customer is in breach of any of the terms of this Agreement.
Maintenance
In the event of any failure on the part of the machine not caused in some way by the Customer’s actions, KeyChoc will endeavour to repair or replace the machine within 48 hours and the Customer will be credited for an amount corresponding to the period that the machine was unusable.
Liability
KeyChoc Ltd shall in no circumstances be liable for any consequential loss incurred by you of any kind, whether directly or indirectly caused by a KeyChoc machine.
